Asian Lundi Gras.

Honey Chicken with Sesame seeds. (3 servings)



. 3 boneless chicken breasts

. 1/4 cup of honey

. 1/4 soy sauce

. 1/2 cup water

. 1/2 tablespoon of shredded ginger

. 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds


. Cut the chicken breasts into bite size portions

. Cook chicken for 6 minutes in a pan over medium heat.

. Mix soy sauce, honey, water and ginger

. Pour into the pan and stir the mix until it becomes a sauce and then add the sesame seeds.

Peanut and Sesame noodles. (3 servings)



. 3 tablespoons of sesame seeds

. 200g of linguine pasta

. 1/4 a cup of creamy peanut butter

. 1 tablespoon vinegar

. 1/2 tablespoon of each: olive oil, grated ginger,  soy sauce, honey

. zest and juice of 1/4 of a lime


. Boil the pasta until al dente. When done, keep a bit of the draines water for later and reserve the pasta.

. Heat the peanut butter in a pan to make it liquid.

. Add the vinegar, olive oil, ginger, soy sauce and honey. Stir until homogeneous.

. Add the lime juice and a bit of the drained water to make the sauce more liquid.

. Pour sauce into pasta and add the sesame seeds.
