Since 1989, the british contribution to the fashion industry and world is celebrated by the British Fashion Awards. These honourable awards reward the creation and success of most of the layers of the fashion world, from models to designers. Moreover the ceremony promotes new designers who will keep on carrying the industry in the future. From seven awards in 1989 to fifteen categories now, everyone in the industry is rewarded for their hard work. Held at the Albert Royal Hall for the first time, the locations have changed and last year was held at the English National Opera. Guests as prestigious as Princess Diana, Naomi Campbell, Mario Testino were and are still present at the events. The ceremony is held in december every year in the British capital.

The outstanding Achievement Award was given to the highly honourable and performant Anna Wintour
Emma Watson received the British Style Award which is one of the most expected award of the night
The big success of the night was the awards given to Louis Vuitton and its designer Nicolas Ghesquière for International Designer and Creative campaign
